THE DATA WE COLLECT

The personal data we collect about you and process may come from Maptun Performance AB's websites (both our own and other websites as well as third-party social networks), electronic mail, SMS and other electronic messages, customer service calls, stores, printed and digital registration forms for competitions, campaigns, events, etc. It also includes publicly available information from social networks and other public sources. The information we collect about you depends on which of our services you use. The data controller is Maptun Performance AB, organization number 556600-4106.

With reference to the law, we mean below the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable Swedish data protection legislation.

GENERAL

We collect personal contact information such as name, registration number, postal address, email address, information on social networks, or phone number. It may also include other information needed to give you access to your specific account profile, such as login name/email address, screen name, irrevocable passwords or security questions and answers, and demographic data such as geographic location (e.g., postal code).

TECHNICAL DATA

Information about the technical equipment you use to connect to any of our websites or apps, such as the IP address of your computer or device, the type of operating system, and browser type and version. If you connect to a Maptun Performance AB website or app with a smartphone or other mobile device, we may also collect data about the phone's unique ID, advertising ID, geographic location, and similar data.

WEBSITE USAGE DATA

When you visit or interact with our websites, including our chat function, or newsletters, we use automatic data collection technology to collect certain information about your activities. This includes information about which links you click on, which pages or content you view and for how long, and other similar information and statistics about your visits, such as response times to content, download errors, and visit length on certain pages. CONSUMER FEEDBACK

Information that you voluntarily provide to us about your experiences with our products and services.

CONSUMER-GENERATED CONTENT

Content that you create and then share with us by uploading it to any of our websites or apps, including apps on social networks like Facebook. This can include photos, videos, personal stories, or other content. We may collect and publish consumer-generated content in connection with a wide range of activities, including competitions and other promotions, web community and consumer activities, and participation in third-party social networks.

INFORMATION ON SOCIAL NETWORKS

Information that you share publicly on a social network or information included in your profile on a third-party social network (such as Facebook) that you allow the network to share with us. This includes basic account information (name, email address, gender, birthday, hometown, profile picture, username, friend list, and similar) and additional information or activities that you allow the social network to share. We receive information about your profile or parts of the profile on a social network each time you download or interact with a Maptun Performance AB web application on a social network like Facebook, each time you use a social networking feature integrated into a Maptun Performance AB website (such as Facebook Connect), or each time you communicate with us through a social network. To learn more about how your information on third-party social networks is collected by Maptun Performance AB, or if you do not agree to share information from social networks, visit the website for the respective social network.

PAYMENT INFORMATION AND FINANCIAL DATA

This includes all information we need to complete an order or that you use to make a purchase, such as payment or credit card information (cardholder name, card number, expiration date) or other forms of payment. We do not have access to bank details such as credit card information, which are handled by connected bank providers. Regardless of the method, we handle payment information and financial data in a manner that complies with applicable laws and standards such as PCI DSS.

CUSTOMER SERVICE CALLS

Calls with our customer service may be recorded for local operational needs (such as quality or training purposes) and in some cases to archive evidence that information about our data processing has been provided. If required by applicable law, you will be informed of the recording at the beginning of the call and given the opportunity to refuse it.

OTHER SOURCES

To keep our information about you up to date, we may collect data about you from other sources, such as publicly available personal records like SPAR. To secure payments, etc., we may also use information obtained from credit rating registers such as UC and from our partners.

SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS

We also collect images of you when you visit our physical store and workshop through surveillance cameras. We use surveillance cameras to prevent crime and create security for our customers, employees, and for us as a company.

In applicable cases, Maptun Performance AB's legitimate interest in the below-mentioned data processing based on a balance of interests is to offer you a better shopping and customer experience and to provide you with personalized offers and other relevant information as well as adequate service and communication. As part of our ongoing efforts to make improvements for you as a customer, we analyze how you use the services. Another legitimate interest is to prevent crime and create security for our customers, employees, and for us as a company.
