Happy to announce the eSID 03-06 November 2024 Update! (For Saab 9-3 II 2003-2006).
Completely new Generation3 hardware design with one single unit installed behind ICM using the included adapter harness.
No splicing needed! Installation time reduced from 1-2 hours to 5-10 minutes and easier to move between cars.
On top of that also software changes (which applies for Gen2 HW aswell):
- Major rework of the software, to be compatible to both Gen3 and Gen2 HW, so that software releases will be made available to both
- Improved Autostart (when Parking Assistance is activated and if seatbelt is attached above 20 km/h)
- Added more special views with 4 selectable parameters (increased from 1 to 4 views)
- Added more parameters to be selectable in favorite views above (only valid parameters for the actual vehicle will be visible when selecting)
- Added controllable 12V output (Only Gen3 HW)
- Added control of the auxiliary relay in engine compartment, for instance when Engine Speed > X rpm (Gen2+Gen3)
- Added Cruise Control Speed parameter to Favorites (B207, B284 and Z19DTx)
- Added EGR, Swirl, ExhaustTemps, DiffPressure views for Z19DTx + Favorite parameters
- Added DPF Force Regen view for Z19DTx
- Improved filtering of SIDC Encoder inputs to (help with worn out SIDC Panels).
- Added configuration to control eSID from steering wheel (Seek+Nxt or Nxt or Phone button)
- Added ICM Audio source detection to be able to only control eSID from steering wheel when AUX is active
- Improved Favorite views configuration by moving it all to Settings group like the other eSID (no longer changed with Rheostat)
- Change Welcome Message using steering wheel buttons. Easier to change character values and/or shift entire row.
- Reworked interface to Aftermarket Stereos. eSID0306 adds MY2007-2012 Radio Interface to 2003-2006 models (on the I-bus), i.e. its possible to connect radio adapters from 2007-2012 cars in 2003-2006 cars and enables functions such as: steering wheel control/powermode/reverse camera/nightpanel (Wiring not included with eSID)
- Added TrqMaxEngSpd and PowMaxEngSpeed, showing which EngineSpeed the maximum Trq/Pwr was registrated.

- Adjustments to all languages: English, Swedish, French, German and Spanish languages
