Maptun’s version is an improvement of the sleeve coupling that, in many cases, fails to maintain a proper seal between the oil pan (sump) and oil pump pick up tube. This can result in the pump sucking air when the engine starts, causing the oil lamp to flash and the warning message "low oil pressure stop immediately" to appear, especially during the colder part of the year.

Maptun's seal is designed for maximum flow and guarantees tightness in all areas, regardless of the thickness of the sealant applied between the engine block and the oil pan during replacement. Fits for e.g Saab 9-3 II 1.9 TTiD and 9-5 II 2.0 TTiD.
