Included in kit

  • 1x ECU bracket

  • 1x Ground cable

  • 1x Plastic nut

  • 2x M5 screws

  • 2x M5 washers

  • 7x M6 nuts

  • 5x Zip ties

  • Step 1

    Unscrew the right front wheel and remove the inner fender liner.


    Step 2

    Remove the plastic cover under the bumper.
    Disassemble and remove the connector on the left side.

    Step 3

    Remove the air filter housing.


    1. Unscrew the hose clamp.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Remove the air filter housing.

    Step 4

    1. Unscrew the ECU including its bracket.


    2. Disconnect the connectors.


    3. Place the ECU on the workbench.

    Step 5

    1. Remove the bracket that holds the wiring harness.


    Step 6

    1. Unclip the wiring harness from the clip on the frame rail.


    2. Carefully pull the wiring up into the engine bay.



    Step 7

    1. Unscrew the ECU from its current bracket.



    Step 8

    1. Mount the new bracket on the existing studs on the firewall above the parking heater

    .

    2. Use 4 M6 nuts as spacers between the firewall and the new bracket, then secure the bracket with 3 M6 nuts and one plastic nut.



    Step 9

    1. Install the ECU in the new bracket using M5 screws, along with the ground cable on the right side.


    2. Attach the other end of the ground cable to the lifting eye mount on the rear right side of the engine.


    Step 10

    1. Route the wiring harness in an arc in front of the timing belt cover and connect it to the ECU.


    2. Secure the wiring harness firmly with zip ties, ensuring it is stable and clear of any rotating components.



    Step 11

    Reinstall the inner fender liner, the plastic under the bumper, and the air filter housing.
