Maptun Downpipe for Saab 9000 is developed for bolt-on installation with OEM placement of turbo and with stock exhaust manifold.
Because of that, it´s not possible to have the front part of the pipe in 3” because of fitment and space issues. In other word, the front part of this downpipe is of a slight smaller dimension than 3”. The downpipe is tested to cope with power outputs up to at least 400hp without any issues. Because of this we have chosen to take the diameter down to 2.5” after the catalytic converter when the exhaust temperature is lower to match our 2.5” maptun sport exhaust. This combination of downpipe and cat-back is also tested to reach the output power goals of the downpipe.
