Gearbox 6-speed Saab 9-3 II B207/A20 F40

Brand New 6-Speed Gearbox (Saab 9-3, F40) for front wheel drive. 
Complete with slave cylinder/release bearing.

This updated F40 gearbox was introduced in model year 2012 and features the new type of synchronizers, eliminating the common shifting issues found in earlier versions – especially during cold starts.

Designed for 4-cylinder A20 engines (2012-).

For installation on B207 engines, flywheel/clutch replacement is required from A20 or B207 XWD, or alternatively spacing of the slave cylinder.

When installing in B207R applications, the front engine mount from XWD must be used together with the rear from MY12 part numbers 24459821 (rear) & 12777977 (front).

Reinforced gearbox housing (same design as XWD).

Internal components can also be used in all F40 FWD gearboxes (e.g., V6, TTiD). Perfect as a spare parts donor – including new bearings, synchronizers, and gear sets that are otherwise unavailable for purchase separately for the F40.
