This replacement socket housing is to be used with Water Pump Friction Drive Wheel 11287598832 which has a black socket.
To install, you simply dismantle the original plug on your Mini by releasing the locking flap on the plug. The two exposed terminals should then feed into the new supplied socket housing. Once the terminals have been pushed in, press down on the locking flap which will hold them in position. The socket can then be inserted onto the plug which is on the friction wheel.
Please ensure that the terminals are inserted into the socket housing the correct way round, otherwise the socket housing will not connect to the plug.
