As LED lamps lack the resistance of a filament lamp, some cars will give a warning of a broken lamp. In most cases the warning will disappear if the “Lamp Warning Canceller” is fitted.
However, the Saab 9-3 II and some other cars with CAN bus require a change in the car software to accept LED lamps.
